Holiday Appeal

Hello Friends,

Do you remember the heat of last summer, and needing the perfect place to cool off in clear, flowing water? Deep Hole Nature Sanctuary on the Peterskill Stream has been that place for so many of us, and with your support, it can continue to welcome visitors for years to come.

We are writing to ask for your donation to protect and keep it accessible to all.

We also want to take this moment to thank all of you for everything you do to support Deep Hole. Beyond your financial support over the past year, your care and stewardship help keep the sanctuary clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who visits.

Deep Hole Nature Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to conserving the natural beauty and spirit of the land that makes this place so special. Our work is guided by a commitment to long term environmental care, inclusive access, and shared responsibility for this community resource. 

Your continued support will also enable us to:

  • Continue to create legal protections, keeping the land undeveloped in perpetuity!

  • Sustain monitoring and  stewardship of Deep Hole Nature Sanctuary lands.

  • Update and expand signage to support public education and stewardship!  

  • Support our part-time staff, including Marann Langlois, so we can stay responsive to community needs and keep the sanctuary clean and safe.

  • Build connections with neighbors and community partners to strengthen stewardship and shared care for Deep Hole and the surrounding lands.
